From my humble beginnings
as a stray dog, I had a dream: to find a chef who could whip up an
assortment of healthy doggie delights rather than massproduced treats filled with additives and preservatives. I found Chef
Augie and it was love at first bite. (I moved in with his family.)
After experimenting with tasty, natural and organic ingredients, Augie began creating the finest treats a dog could love, BARKscotti

When we launched this business, we defined success as more than growth and profitability. In order to be truly successful we needed to be a good corporate citizen within the community at large as well. With that in mind, Smokey's DogHouse™ has made the commitment to:
Make healthy, high quality dog treats that are tasty and good for your dog.
We produce the highest quality dog treats using only preservative free natural and human grade ingredients. The products are also certified Kosher.
Use local suppliers whenever possible.
Currently 70% of our ingredients have come from Michigan based farms and companies.
Give back to the community.
We believe that every business has a social responsibility to make this a better world. Through Smokey Cares™, a portion of our proceeds will be given to help support Smokey's four-legged friends in animal shelters throughout North America.
